Sicilian cannolo
Traveling to Sicily we find its most famous dessert, the Sicilian cannolo.
This delicacy made with a crunchy cylindrical dough and filled with delicious ricotta cream is one of the most popular desserts. Once you try its spectacular flavour, you can’t help but fall into temptation again and again.
These delicacies are ideal for a snack or breakfast. You can also order several units and surprise that person who enjoys a little sweet treat so much, or take it as a dessert at the next dinner with friends. They will be delighted!
Delicious crepes
And reviewing the most typical desserts of the winter months, we cannot forget the crepe. The unmistakable aroma of a freshly made crepe intoxicates the five senses, from the first moment we begin to delight in its characteristic essence.
It is a dessert that both children and adults love. Some prefer it filled with chocolate, others with pieces of fruit such as strawberries or banana, and those with a sweet tooth choose to have it with whipped cream and gelato.
It is a dessert with a long history, whose origins date back to the Brittany region of medieval France, although in those years its appearance was a little different from the crepes we eat today. Tartallete, those sweets that are always welcome at any celebration, thanks to their particular flavour and appearance. At GIOELIA Cremeria we make them with puff pastry that we fill with chocolate sauce, pistachio sauce, dulce de leche…

Chocolate lovers may prefer a brownie with chocolate chips that they can accompany with a scoop of homemade gelato. Choose the flavour you like best from our wide variety – we recommend the classic stracciatella, vanilla or nougat – and enjoy the delicious contrast between the warm brownie and the creamy gelato.
In addition, at GIOELIA Cremeria we have a lesser-known but equally delicious version of brownie, the so-called blondie. Unlike the classic brownie we are used to tasting, the blondie is prepared with less chocolate and has caramel pieces that give it a unique flavour.

Previously we travelled to Sicily through cannoli, to France with crepes and now we move to Belgium, a country known worldwide for its delicious waffles.
Made with a dough that is cooked on two hot plates and which gives it its characteristic shape with small squares and a crunchy yet soft texture.
As with the crepe, there are many ways to enjoy it. Some people prefer to eat it plain, but the most common way to add chocolate sauce, gelato, whipped cream or pieces of fruit is toppings. Enjoy it from the first to the last bite!

Declared cookie eaters will find a little paradise in GIOELIA cookies. If you like white chocolate, the cookies with pieces of this delicious sweet and raspberries will be your favourite.
